Parallel to his musical career he exhibited his paintings in two one- man shows and also in group-shows.

In 1966 he won the Bienal de Arte Award :  Museum of Contemporary Arts, Santiago, and got  involved in Computer Studies and Digital Vídeo, and was awarded a scholarship to proceed with these kind of studies at the Parsons School for the Arts in Computer Arts.

By 1967 he was immersed in his artistic work again : drawing, painting, engraving, photography and also a bit of literary work.
